A RARE FIND!! From my personal collection, I am parting with this beautiful Royal Crown Derby Blue Mikado Knife Set. All the knives are in MINT condition with no cracks, chips, crazing or separating of the porcelain from the blade. One knife of the set has a blurred pattern. (Please see picture - the knife at the top - please email me for more pictures) The knives measure 7 inches long, the blade itself is 4 inches long. The blades are not serrated and are quite sharp. I'm not sure if they would be a fish knife or a fruit knife. The knife blade is hallmarked ROYAL CROWN DERBY MADE IN ENGLAND, the porcelain is marked ENGLAND ROYAL CROWN DERBY. T is no date marking on these knives, but I would assume, from the really beautiful case that they come in that they are an earlier vintage - maybe from the 1940's or earlier. (I have another set of knives - not for sale, of a different style, that are in a rather shabby cardboard box - which I figure are newer, maybe from the 50's or 60's). ANYHOW - the case is red with black specs and is hinged with gold clasps. It is in excellent condition except for w the knife points have pierced the satin lining.
