For sale is a Derby plate ,green mark dated, of a scene of Lathkil Dale painted by the famous W.E.J.Dean. Unfortunately this has been through the wars,and is really in three pieces,although it has had an old type repair done and some of the staples are still present. This is really a tragedy but can be restored by the present day experts,although it still displays nicely. The plate is 8.5" diameter,pie crust effect , with virtually no gilding loss at all. A very worthwhile restoration project for Dean collectors. Many thanks for looking. (smoke free environment).
