Item Description: ROYAL DAALDEROP HOLLAND PEWTER COFFEE/TEA SERVICE VINT. ***VERY GOOD CONDITION*** This Mid-20th Century pewter Coffee & Tea Service has not been cleaned other than with a damp cloth. We leave it to the buyer to polish and buff this wonderful example of 1950s-60 stream-line design and bring it back to its original luster. The set consists of the following pieces: 10" Coffee Pot/Server with wood handle (a few light, buffable scratches, no dents or dings).7" Tea Pot with wood handle (a few light, buffable scratches, no dents or dings). 4-1/4" Creamer/Milk Jug (two very tiny dings on one side, no scratches). 3-1/4" Covered Sugar Bowl a few light, buffable scratches, no dents or dings). All of the above listed pieces are marked "Royal Daalderop Holland Pewter, Made in Holland". The company was founded in 1898, was best known for its work during the Art nouveau era, and is still producing quality pewter. The included 18-3/4" by 12-1/4" oval Tray is marked with an illegible mark. It has a metal frame which may or may not be pewter, and a wood insert. Judging by the design and simple handle decoration, this is probably older than the service, possibly 1930s-40s Art Deco. It shos minimal wear and no damage. This will be shipped double boxed.
