A Royal Doulton Character Jug Bacchus D6499 A Royal Doulton Character Jug Bacchus D6499 A large Royal Doulton Character jug formed as Bacchus. The character jug is modelled as the head and shoulders of Bacchus; he is wearing a purple shawl with white clip on his shoulder. The character jug has blonde hair with a vine and grape band around the top. The handle on the jug is formed as a root and vine. It is impressed to the back of the jug with his name Bacchus. To the bottom of the character jug it is marked with the Royal Doulton symbol his name Bacchus and the model number D6499. Size Height 7.5” Width 7” Condition The condition of the character jug is excellent.
