ROYAL DOULTON FINE CHINA 5 PIECE PLACE SETTING Used Once, Maybe Twice ~ EXCELLENT CONDITION I am selling this 5 piece place setting (a total of 12 5-piece place settings), a creamer, suger bowl, platter, and serving bowl for my girlfriend who is going through a divorce. All pieces have been used one time, maybe twice. EXCELLENT CONDITION - no chips, scratches or any wear shown. Great deals on beautiful Fine Bone China!! Manufacturer Description: Royal Doulton’s Princeton features whiteware done in Royal Doulton’s “ Georgia ” shape, accente d with azure blue scrollwork, deep blue bands, and gold trim. The blithe scrolls that appear on each piece are further highlighted with stylized designs of sea creatures and shells. The design theme for this elegant pattern is in the Rococo tradition. The word “Rococo” is a combination of the French word “racaille,” meaning shell, and “barocco,” the Italian word for Baroque. Applied art in the Rococo tradition is characterized by shell-like curves, playful use of color and line, and opulent ornamentation.
