Available for bid or purchase is a BEAUTIFUL Royal Doulton Fine Bone China formal dinner or luncheon tea set! This set is COMPLETELY ready for a formal dinner, Easter brunch, an impromptu Spring garden party, or a Bride & Bridesmaid Luncheon!The pattern is Clovelly which was active from 1941 until 1961, when it was retired. The makers mark on the back of each plate is one that was used by Royal Doulton from 1928 through 1959 on fine bone china pieces. The dishes present in excellent pre-owned condition, with NO flaws or defects. They were obviously very lovingly, and sparingly used, as they show NO wear WHATSOEVER. The pattern is a vibrant floral on a bright white background. It features flowers done in orange, yellow, pink, and purple, with green foliage. The borders of the dishes are fluted in a very delicate way. Royal Doulton fine bone china tends to be very collectible. I imagine collectors and enthusiasts alike, would love to own this lovely set.
