Excellent and Rare Royal Doulton Cattleya Orchid Plate handpainted and signed by David Dewsberry (painted for Royal Doulton 1889-1919). This beautiful and very colorful 9.5" diameter plate with scalloped edges and gold trim is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, loss of paint, or loss of gold trim. It is signed by David Dewsberry in green on the lower right front and marked on the back R026738 C9970 L Royal Doulton. It is also handwritten Irecelio? Cattleya. The deep rich colors of these orchids and the background decoration is exceptional. This plate was lovingly and carefully taken care over the years.
