************** Owd Willum is definitely one of my favorite Doulton figurines and why he's the last of the three we've had for auction. He's a wonderful study of an old, rustic, tramp style gent which is endearing and yet poignant. Willum is sitting on a stone wall, straining to hear a faint noise, he has a full mug of Stout in his right hand, and all his worldly possessions to his left in a colorful handkerchief knapsack. He displays well with The Poacher and many other figurines. Facts: Royal Doulton Owd Willum HN 2042 Made in England Designer: Leslie Harradine Height: 6.75" 17.2cm Issued: 1949-73 Owd Willum is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing (except for a bit of crazing on the bottom).
