This is an auction for a Royal Doulton Covered Muffin Dish from the 1950s possibly earlier. The pattern was produced from 1934 to 1964 so I cannot be certain of when exactly it was made. This particular piece is extremely rare and I have not seen another on any of the replacement china sites and not on eBay in over a year. This bowl is lightly crazed but in very good condition. The lid has no crazing and there is no chipping or cracking on either of the pieces (it sat in my great aunt's china cabinet unused for decades). The crazing would not show up in pictures. The bowl is 8 1/4" in diameter and the lid is 6" in diameter. PAYMENT: I accept PayPal only and payment is expected within 3 days of the end of an auction.
