They are part of Royal Doulton's, "FIGURES OF WILLIAMSBURG SERIES."Both of the Figurines were designed by Margaret (Peggy) Davies,who was considered to be one of Royal Doulton's Most Gifted Artists.The Figurines she designed are especially Exquisite in every detail.I shall describe each of the Figurines separately to give youan idea of their Special Qualities and Beauty.1. Lady from Williamsburg HN2228 was Issued from 1960-1983.The Figurine is Approximately 5 1/2 inches Tall and4 inches wide at its widest point. This Beautiful Ladyis wearing a bright Green Long Day Dress which has a YellowUnder Bodice with Green Strapping to simulate Lacingacross the Bodice of her Dress. She is holding a largeWhite Picture Hat which has pale yellow overtones with a Sprig of Green. On her head, she is wearing a White Dust Cap.There is a very Beautiful, Gentle, Elegance to the facial features of this lovely figurine--exquisite coloring. Her hair is black, and she is seated on a pale gray Garden Bench.2. Gentleman from Williamsburg HN2227 was Issued from 1960-1983This Figurine is approximately 6 inches tall and approx.3 1/2 inches wide at its widest point.
