This is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and hard to find on the secondary market and dates back in time. This piece was marked by Royal Doulton who has made some of the finest porcelain pieces during the time period. This a charming hand painted mouse figurine. We believe he is known as Dusty Dogwood. He's a groom dressed in a black tuxedo and a rasberry colored vest with a floral daisy. Dusty is the Groom to Poppy Eyebright another figurine (we also have on a separate Ebay auction). We believe Jill Barklem created them from her four seasonal stories. He's cute as can be from his pink ears down to his pink feet! He is properly marked Royal Doulton Dusty Dogwood D.BH.6. From the Brambly Hedge Gift Collection Jill Barklem 1982 Made in England.
