Royal Doulton plate fresh out of a New England estate. In storage for several years. Plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Numbered on back D6283. There are nine plates in "The Professionals" Series.They were produced in four separate firings.First Series 1919 – 1938Second Series 1939-1948Third Series 1949- 1960Fourth Series 1961-1975~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The Mayor"D. 6283 from the SECOND firing Approx.
