Embroidered silk postcard from the First World War period showing the badge of THE ROYAL ENGINEERS - RE . Soie. Brodee. The cards I offer for sale come from my own collection built up over 35 years, and are of excellent quality unless indicated otherwise. I am only selling them because I need the space. Surface marks : Slight ageing Condition of back : Excellent Written on : Yes Image : The woven nature of the silk material can cause interference patterns in the scanning process that are not on the postcard itself.
