The minute Handcrafted detail of this item is really amazing. A true work of Craftsmanship that is very hard to come by these days. I have some more to list soon and everyone different from tanks to troop carries. Being Made in England , by The Royal Hampshire art foundry some years back . I don’t know the exact year so I’m guessing it’s around the 1990s seeing that art foundry closed down some years back. But I have an original broacher from The Royal Hampshire art foundry advertising other tanks they were marketing or about to. It may have been named after Winston Churchill who was Prime Minister of United Kingdom and defense at the time, and had been involved with the development of the tank as a weapon during the First World War . Alternatively, and fitting in with other British tank names, it may have been named after John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough , an ancestor of Winston Churchill.
