A peaked cap as worn by Sub Lieutenants, Lieutenants and Lieutenant Commanders of the Royal Navy, no maker visible but appears to be Gieves, size approx. 57, cap shows only little traces of age and wear, bullion cap badge with King's crown, I would think the cap was made between the wars or during WW2. All over an attractive cap.I have collected the German Navies and the Royal Navy for about 40 years and must break up my collection now because of age reasons. I guarantee the originality of my items. Money back if I should be wrong. Allthough I have a UK bank account at Barclays (clearing a cheque takes quite a long time) I preferShipping as a recorded international large letter is £ 5.50. An additional discreet insurance is possible for £1.50 for every €100 of value.
