ROYAL RUBY RED GLASS CHERRY & CABLE COVERED BUTTER DISH Description Up for auction today is a beautiful Ruby Red Glass Covered Butter Dish. I think this pattern is called "Cherry and Cable" or "Cherry Thumbprint". It is a very well made piece of glass with no rough seams,sharp edges or cloudiness. It is in perfect shape with no cracks,scratches,flea bites or chips. It is true solid Ruby Red glass and the color is Not flashed (painted) on. It measures approximately 6-1/2" high X 7-3/4" wide. It is a pretty substantial butter dish! It was handmade in Cambridge,OHIO. This is truly a beautiful piece of glass and would make a wonderful addition to any Ruby Red glass or butter dish collection!
