ROYAL WORCESTER PORCELAIN ELEPHANT GILT VEGETABLE DISH Presented is a magnificent porcelain covered vegetable dish with a neat animal motif made by Royal Worcester. The dish has wonderful gilt elephants heads for the handles on either side and birds heads on the lid supported on gilt bird feet. Both the lid and the dish are beautifully painted and gilded with a band of cobalt blue bordered with intricate gilt designs. Both the cover and the dish are marked on the underside with the makers mark for Royal Worcester including the date mark for 1902 on the lid and 1903 on the dish. The condition is excellent. T are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no breaks, and no repairs. The dish measures 6 1/2 inches by 12 inches and stands 6 inches tall.
