RPPC 1914 FALL RIVER, MASS MA ROGERS & ALLEN SCHOOL 's a peak inside the Rogers & Allen Business School in Fall River as it appeared in 1914 as shown on an unused, divided-back, real photo post card obtained from an old city collection. Labeled on the back "1914 Rogers & Allen Buisness (that's the way it is spelled- incorrectly) School 109 So. Main St. Fall River," it shows a classroom of about 18 small desks facing an instructors desk and blackboards behind. With a stong magnifier the words- 'cash book,' 'copy ledger,' and 'copy in blank book' can be seen written in chalk on the left side of the blackboard on the right. T is also a lined chart on the rest of the board but the lettering and numbers cannot be made out. A typewriter can also be seen on a desk or table near, what appears to be, a doorway in the center. With just a hint of extremely insignificant corner wear, this 95 year old card remains in excellent condition. Questions? Please email us.
