This is a very nice Real Photo postcard from Dansville, NY. Dansville is a small town of approx. 4,800 people in Livingston County, Upstate, NY. This card is titled, "Agricultural Parade Dansville, NY Aug 13-19th" and it is dated on the back 1911. This card has normal expected wear. T is paper and glue residue on the back from being in an album at one time. So it that sense this card is "as found", please keep that in mind when bidding. The actual photo front is in good condition. This is a clean images of this town and I consider these to be a nice photographic image of this event. RPPC were usually taken by amateur photographers, or regional photographers.(This one is signed "Hulbert"). They were often made for private family use, so unlike commercial postcards of popular tourist sites made by large publishing houses, this card would be rare. This card is very likely even unique at this point in time. Chances are that if you would like a RPPC view like this, you will need to get them I am pleased to offer this historic and interesting card for consideration.
