Great real photo postcard showing the hounds and followers of the Tetcott Hunt gathered at Sheepwash Bridge on the River Tamar in North Devon, in August 1909 (the date being written on both the front and back). In excellent condition for its age (102 years!) with very slight edge, corner and surface wear, as seen on the scan. (The ‘patchnet on eBay’ is on the scan, not on the card!) As can just be made out on the scan, the card is embossed (lower left-hand corner) with the photographer’s details: J. Elliott, The Elm Studio, Merton, Devon. It was mailed on 1 November 1909 from Richampton (the village just below Sheepwash) to Lee (S.E. London). Postage (same for up to five cards) UK £0.75, Europe £1.50, Rest of World £2.50. Payment requested within 3 days of auction end. Good luck bidding, and please
