This is a “one of a kind”... Ruby Red Carnival Glass Vase... that was made as a “dealer sample”. Let me give you some of the basics... and then I’ll give you what information I’m at liberty to divulge. This Vase stands 12 3/8 inches tall... and 4 inches across the deeply embossed “star-burst” bottom. I see some remnants of “glass mold marks” on the lower portion of this Vase... but other than that it appears to be in excellent condition. Keep in mind... this Vase was not produced for sale... but rather as an “exercise in shaping”. With more than 50 years of collecting... buying... and selling glassware... it’s not hard to understand that I’ve made a lot of good collector friend... and a lot of good contacts in the “glass world”... with dealers and manufactures. Along with this legacy of exposure comes the opportunity to purchase some of the more rare and unusual pieces of art-glass. Often these items are from extremely short runs... some are experimental or test pieces... while others are either dealers or glassmakers samples.
