By the time I was a teenager I was buying original Civil War canteens, blankets and guns at the local markets. But as any lower echelon drug addict will tell you, eventually you have to start selling in order to afford your habit. For many years I bought, sold and traded images and artifacts, early pressed glass, coin silver....etc. And, since I never bought anything that didn't interest me, there's never been anything I've sold that I wouldn't have wanted back. Before the internet, we started publishing a mail order catalog under the name Circa Bellum and sold material nationwide.
