Check out my other items ! Up for auction, I have a wonderful old Rugerio Talavera Mexican picture tile. This sweet little square tile is hand decorated with a mexican women sitting in front of a. spanish mission. It is a wonderful Mexican motif tile. The tile measures 4" square. It is in excellent original condition with a few minor glaze flaws typical of the early mexican tile production. It does not have the artist mark but I am sure it is also a Rugerio tile. This is from the Rugerio studio in Puebla from sometime in the 1930's. This would make a nice addition to any spanish revival , monterey style home decor or a new addition to any pottery tile collection.
