I was told that this is the "Cantaloupe" color of Russell Wright's Iroquois Casual line of pottery. The actual color is NOT a chartreuse green, nor is it a mild orange. It appears to be that of an unripened pumpkin or a light brown mustard. You be the judge. If you can add to my knowledge ~ I welcome your comments. (Bowl color is a little browner in tint in reality than the picture shows. Lid color is LESS bright yellow, more brownish yellow in real life.) This is a divided vegetable bowl that measures approximately 10-1/4" in diameter. The outsides have indents to be used as handle-holds. The matching lid has a cute little "stem" handle on top. Bottom of the bowl is marked: Iroquois Casual China ~ by Russel Wright ~ U.S.A. CONDITION: Straw marks are visible under the glaze of both lid and bowl. NO chips or cracks. If t is any crazing to the glaze, I cannot see it. Looks good! NOTE: All white "spots" in photos are camera glare, and NOT chips. I have added a third picture ~ of the manufacturer's mark found on the bottom of the bowl. Sorry, but my camera "washed out" the color. I am hoping that active collectors can make a determination of the color of this piece based on the mark. If you let me know, I will add this to the listing. Thanks.
