This is a nice set of American Modern goblets in granite grey designed by Russell Wright. Russell Wright was a forward thinking industrial designer who created a very form meets function dinner ware set in the mid century modernism era. These are the glasses he designed to go with the the american modern dinnerware line. They were hand blown at the Old Morgantown Glass Company. They were made in all the colors russell wright used on the dinnerware. These are the granite gray glasses that went with the granite gray dishes. Some call the color smoke. They are elegant looking and drinking out of them is a pleasure. They are 4" tall and 3-1/2" in diameter. All six of these goblets are in excellent condition with no chips cracks scratches nicks scuff repairs or restorations. Nice American item sold by a green business. Upscale recycling at its best !!!
