Travel time of more than a month, with route covering quite a bit of territory, and well documented by transit cancels - Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Merv ( in short-lived Bukhara Soviet Republic, now in Turkmenistan), Aulie Ata (modern Taraz in Southern Kazakhstan), and finally picked up at Vannovskoye, Syr Darya District (modern name is Ak Biik, Kazakhstan; some 100 km west from Taraz). Scarce Turkestan usage; still on Cherrystone auction card from 1980s, with net price of $160.
