March 27, 1922 inflation cover from Yekaterinoslav to Novocherkassk franked at 10,000R plus two Famine Relief Charity stamps. As a guess, the Post Office knew of the forthcoming rate change from 7500R to 10,000R and charged the higher rate although this was not required by Moscow for another two weeks. The franking consists of a pair of 5000R (black) surcharges on 1R pictorials plus 100R + 100R (blue) and 250R + 250R (black) Famine Relief Charity stamps. Cover slightly trimmed with a receiving cancel on the reverse. Shipping will be $3 via First Class Airmail, although I strongly recommend that foreign bidders pay $14 for Registered Shipping. NOTE: Dom estic shipping for packages over $100 must carry full insurance. For more Russian domestic covers & cards from late Mar ch, 1922, please c heck out my other items !
