Russian Distinguished 70th Anniversary MVD Worker/Order of the Red Banner Medals This auction is for the Reproductions of the 2 Russian Soviet Badge Orders "Distinguished MVD Worker, 70 th Anniversary" issue and the Order of the Red Banner, type 1. * This type of MVD badge was issued during 1987, the 70th Anniversary of the NKVD. It is technically an MVD award and replaced the Type 2 Variation 2 during 1987. The numeral "70" appears in the lower portion of the ribbon. The reproduction is made of metal, screw back plate. * The Order of the Red Banner was e stablished on the 1st of August, 1924. This was the first Soviet order. Awarded to military personnel of the Soviet Army and Navy who display exceptional courage, self-denial, and valor during combat. Screwback. "Mirror Reverse". With a flat space on reverse for serial number. Very early pieces had hand-engraved numbers. The order has its serial number which is # 18024 . For further details please view the pictures.
