Cartographer: Nicolas Sanson ( 1600 - 1667 ) was a French cartographer, wrongly termed by some the creator of French geography. Alexis-Hubert Jaillot (1632-1712) was an French engineer, geographer, cartographer and printer in Paris. Description: We offer a decorative and old-coloured copper engraving map by Sanson & Jaillot.
