Three figures of Russian peasant women made and hand painted by the Gzhel works during the Soviet era. Each is stamped on the bottom "Hand painted in USSR" and the cyrillic Gzhel stamp on the larger two. The smallest piece is of two women chatting with their shopping baskets, 8 cm high by 7 cm wide. The next is a woman with a basket, 10 cm high by 5 cm wide. The largest is a woman feeding 2 chickens, 12.5 cm high by 10 cm wide. All are undamaged, no chips or cracks.
