Two Russian Imperial Porcelain Factory Plates from the Farm Palace Banquet Service, St. Petersburg, reign of Nicholas I (1825-1855). Of a circular form with gilt and white scrolls to a lavender ground, the center with the cipher Grand Duke Alexander Nikolaevich (the future Emperor Alexander II) surmounted by a crown. With a blue factory mark to the reverse. Reference: Imperial Porcelain Factory, page 471.Dimensions: Very good, both plates have small chips on the verso. The front part of the plate is not damaged.Condition: D: 10 in., (25.3 cm)
