Rare KGB Border Guards KLMK heavy weight winter combat/service camo suit. Lemon yellow, on grass green digital camo style. Blue attached fur collar, and heavy (I repeat heavy!) removable liner. What lots of collectors do not know, is that the KGB aside from all the James Bond/Spy stuff, were the leading organisation of an apparatus with over 1 million soldiers and technicians. One of the most critical functions that came under KGB control, was frontier control. Russia has immense unguarded frontiers, so it was the job of dozens of Brigade sized units on land, and several Suadrons of small and medium Ships, to Patrol this territory. To be a member of one of these units, you must pass a rigorous security check, and be far and away higher motivated than the rank and file Red Army soldier. The KGB Border gaurds were also a critical combat element in WW2, seeing action on all fronts. (To the interested and qualified collector, we may offer our extensive and world famous KGB Border Guards Naval regiments collection. Uniform items, ships flags, and several versions of the very nice Naval forces crewbadges with ship and flotilla names. these are murder to find, as most of these units have been disbanded due to funding, and some of their duties handed over to equally undermanned/motivated Navy.)
