Up for auction is a wonderful Russian Matryoshka or nesting doll with 10 dolls in the set. This set is part of a collection purchased at a local estate. The largest doll in the set is 10" and the smallest is 1". This doll is signed and dated and has a certificate of authenticity from Museum Arts Collectables , St. Petersburg Russia. Each of the dolls in this set is hand painted with what looks like story scenes from folktales involving foxes or wolves. The backs of the dolls have a wood burnt floral decoration.
