A raregenuine 1980's vintage large Russian mens military divers wristwatch made bythe Vostok (Boctok) watch factory. Vostok means East in Russian. The watch has the older style rotating bezel with the white enamel implant at the 12 position, and a screw-down crown. The watch is in excellent condition. It is a mechanical wind-up watch and is working very well and keeps very good time. On the white face is the Soviet red star and the word 'Albatross' written in Russian. Beneath the 6 in tiny letters is 'CAEAAHO B CCCP' in english this means 'Made in USSR'. On the back it also says 'amphibia' and the watch is water resistant to a depth of 200m. Only Vostok watches with 'CCCP' at the bottom of the dial are real Soviet era watches! Size: 4.5cm from top to bottom. The case is silver in colour and made of metal. The wristwatch comes with a metal strap. Unlike so many of the Russian watches on ebay this watch was made when Russia was the Soviet Union not a modern copy.
