A rare genuine 1980's vintage large Russian mens military divers wristwatch made by the Vostok (Boctok) watch factory, the makers of Soviet military watches. Vostok means East in Russian. The watch has the older style rotating bezel with the white enamel implant at the 12 position and a screw-down crown. The watch is in very good condition (please see photos for condition). It is a mechanical wind-up watch and is working very well and keeps very good time. On the face below the 12 mark is the word Boctok (East). Below this is the word 'antimagnetic' written in Russian. Above the 6 mark in tiny letters is CДЕЛAHO В CCCP in english this means 'Made in USSR'. Only Vostok watches with 'CCCP' at the bottom of the dial are real Soviet era watches!!! Size: diameter 4.3cm inc crown. The Amphibia case is silver in colour and made of polished solid steel. On the back it says the watch is water proof to a depth of 200m ( I haven't tried this out!) The wristwatch comes with a black leather strap. Unlike so many of the Russian watches on ebay this watch was made when Russia was the Soviet Union not a modern copy.
