A genuine vintage large Russian mens military wristwatch made by the Vostok (Boctok) watch factory. Vostok means East in Russian. It has a revolving bezel and a screw-down crown. The watch is in very good working condition (please see photos for visual condition). It is a mechanical wind-up watch, is keeping very good time. On the face below the 12 mark is the word командирские 'Komandirskie' commander written in Russian. Below the 6 mark in tiny letters is 'ZAKAZ MO CCCP' in english this means 'By Order Of The Ministry Of Defense Of The Soviet Union' . Only Vostok watches with 'CCCP' at the bottom of the dial are real Soviet era watches!!! Size: diameter 4.3cm inc crown. The case is gold in colour and made of metal. Unlike so many of the Russian watches on ebay this watch was made when Russia was the Soviet Union not a modern copy. The watch comes with a new black leather strap.
