Russian Mstera Mctepa Lacquer Box Hunter w Bow & Bird Signed & Made in USSR Description Russian Mstera Mctepa Lacquer Box Hunter w Bow & Bird Signed & Made in USSR Offered is Russian hand painted lacquer box. The box has a hinged lid and measures 5 1/4" by 3 3/4". The box depicts a hunter who has just shot his arrow at a bird in flight. The colors are rich and vibrant with a gold floral border framing the scene. The lacquer has blistered on the sides of the box with some also on the bottom. There are scratches and some minor edge wear. The box is marked Mctepa (Mstera) and is signed. The bottom is marked in gold "Made in USSR" with BD-140 and a label remnant.
