This is a very unique Russian nesting doll I purchased from the art studio of a very exclusive artist while in Moscow this past March. The strawberries are drawn with such intricate details and who cant love her changing expressions. This doll came from the studio of an artist by the name of Anna Tinyakova. Her works are known for their character and charm. Egg-tempera paint is the primary medium used to paint the compositionon this nesting doll. The palette is full of colors that are bright and vibrant.All aspects of the scene are intricately detailed with fine lines created with precise brushwork. Finally, 9 layers of lacquer cover this work of art giving a smooth feel and bright look. T are 5 dolls in the nesting doll set. The tallest one is 6 3/4", the smallest - 1 1/2"Signed by the Russian artist! ( Anna Tinyakova)
