This Russian Orthodox icon was painted by a modern professional church artist at the main Monastery of Saint-Petersburg: Alexander Nevsky Laura. The modern wooden panel was covered with levkas (gesso, special priming). It was covered with leaf gold and then painted with egg tempera and enamel paints . The style is traditional and strictly follows the canons of the icon painting. Large Size = 13.2x10.4x0.8 (33.5x26.5x2 cm). Weight = 908 gr.
