Collectible rare vintage Russian Dolls from each state of the Soviet Union - 4 different states: These were purchased from a woman who traveled to Russia and purchased them in the 50's to early 60's. 3 are in excellent condition. 1 has 2 stains on her dress - please refer to the last 2 pictures. I do not know if it is possible to clean or lighten the stains and did not want to try and take the risk of ruining the dress. The hair tends to be thread and the capes and hats are made out of paper. There are no rips or tears. Each doll has separate arms. Each doll is made from wood and meticulously painted with a lot of detail. This would be a great addition to a collection of historical Russian Dolls. The dolls are 3-1/2" in height.
