This Japanese ryoba-noko saw blade is probably 60+ years old and came from a retired carpenter now in his nineties. Some of the blades that are on auction have his name engraved on the shaft. The quality of metal used in the construction of these old saws is not to be found today. Useable but the blade needs to be sharpened, set and aligned for it to be uswed to its full potential which is not an easy task and sadly this skill is becoming rare even in Japan.
