You are bidding on a platinum Ten Dollar Bullion coin from the U.S. that was minted in 2003. This coin is an American Eagle Platinum Bullion coin that has been issued by the U.S. mint from 1997 to the present day. The obverse design of the coin features a radiant bust of Liberty facing forward with the date to the right of Liberty and the reverse design of the coin features an image of an eagle with spread wings flying to the right with a rising sun to the left of the eagle and the denomination below the eagle. This coin was minted at the Philadelphia mint. This coin is listed as KM#283 in Krause's Standard Catalog of World Coins 2001-Date. This coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition and has been certified and graded by NGC with a grade of MS-69 and looks very nice as you can see from the posted photos but please look at the posted photos and make your own determination as to the overall grade and appearance of this coin. This coin weighs 3.1100 grams with a composition of 0.09995 platinum and an actual platinum weight of 0.09999 ounces. With the price of platinum at $1,818.50 an ounce(COMEX-4/26/11) this coin contains $181.83 in platinum but is worth more than that for its numismatic value. This is a nice certified platinum coin that will make a good addition to any collection.
