This is a set, I prefer to sell them together. I think the person interested in this will want them both.First is a real authorized, genuine and unit issued Stetson U.S. Army Cavalry hat.I know this, as it was issued to me and worn a few times from 2004 to 2014.It is in excellent condition, no wear, unusual tear or imperfection. It is size 7 1/2. I have included the rank, crossed saber insignia and the correct black/gold braided cord for a field grade officer.I have removed the rear unit crest, you can replace that with your own, any of your choice or leave it the way it is.This is not one of the "wannebe" other brands or close reproduction. It is the real thing, issued to me in Fort Hood, Texas, it accompanied me on 2 Iraq tours and 1 Afghanistan tour and was worn at the formal balls before and after each deployment. These Stetsons cost, without braids and emblems, over $225.00 just for the hat.Second is the unit issued Saber. Everybody knows there are small differences in these cavalry sabers, little details, as over the years venders change and these swords, purchased from small unit funds, weren't always bought at the same place.
