You are bidding on this book of about 12 prints ( I am only showing 9 of the prints) but all 12 are in excellent condition, Please email me if you need more pictures or have any questions, these are still in hard bound covers. I this is the first time I have seen the entire book for sale, usually the prints are offered indivually at $100 +. The overall dimentions of the book are 18" X 14" and the prints are 9" X 13". Wonderful series of prints illustrating the history and the uniforms, from the American Revolution to the Spanish American War. Each print captures in detail the various types of uniforms worn by each service and by rank. The prints were issued by the Werner Company of Akron, Ohio, and they were made with vivid chromolithography. The scenes are unusual in depicting military action, with the troops attacking or being attacked.
