is a vintage machete from S&J KITCHIN of Sheffield England No. 2640. It is marked with a triangle with 1952 below it. I am not sure, but I think this is the year it was issued. It is in very good condition and the blade is sharp without any nicks or pitting. The leather scabbard is 20 1/4" long and is marked P.I. 1952 and K.E. 3513, also in very good condition. The overall length of the knife is 20" with a 14 5/8" blade. The blade is 2 7/8" wide at its widest point. It is an excellent piece to add to any knife collection.
