A nice bayonet, in WW2 government cut 6" of M1905 and added the E1. Black scales, bayonet is in excellent condition with nothing broken. There is a dent in plastic of each scale at same point that must be from rubbing the rifle. Front tang stamped S A 1912 with flaming ball, rear tang stamped U S and 6 digit serial number. Correct scabbard stamped at throat US in side a flaming ball. Everything very good clean condition. Locking mechanism works. Blade approx. 10" long, overall approx. 14 3/8".
