**NO reserve price. This item will sell.**You are bidding on one (1) U.S. military issued field desk. As it is surplus, there are appropriate stuffs, and dings. However, all drawers are present, and in working order - which as you know can be rare. It is a wonderful piece of American military equipment. Completely portable, I use one as both a permanent desk in my office and one in my trailer for fairs, etc. It was meant to be use militarily in battlefield scenarios, near the rear. While it is heavy (approx 90 lbs) it is completely self contained and can be boxed up and moved quickly.Made of durable woods, and brass fittings, this desk simply will not fail.Manufacture of this vintage item began in the latter years of World War II, and continued all the way into the 1980's.Lid detaches from the box and is reattached to either side of the drawer-box, with folding legs on one side to complete the desk.Two wooden folding stools strapped to the bottom of the Tabletop/Lid.This vintage item may have some minor scratches, chips, dents, or adhesive residue, from a long shelf life as well as transportation.Field Desk dimensions: 24"W x 27"H x 17.5"DBuyer is responsible for arranging shipment, though I am willing to assist the company you choose during pick-up. I can take over shipping completely, but will pass along the cost.
