This is a very gently pre-owned official U.S. Military issue cold/wet weather parka. It is officially the PARKA, COLD WEATHER, CAMOUFLAGE and is NSN 8415-0. It is rendered in WOODLAND camouflage patterned GORE-TEX fabric with sealed seams. This parka matches the BATTLE DRESS COMBAT UNIFORM (BDU). Designed to be worn by itself or over other thermal under layers this is the outer most upper body layer in the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). This is size MEDIUM-REGULAR and fits height up to 67”-71” and men’s chests 37”-41” and women’s chests 40”-44”. The actual measurements are approximately 23” shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 27.5” armpit to armpit across the chest, 26” side to side at the hem, 24” down the sleeve from the shoulder seam to cuff, and 28” down the back from the base of the collar to the hem. It features zippered front closure with snap over storm flap, brimmed hood with draw cord, Velcro flap pocket on the left bicep, Velcro and snap flap front pockets, zippered underarm vents, Velcro tab adjustable cuffs, draw cord waist with elasticized inner storm/powder flap. This great jacket was obtained in a military living estate lot and originally received as issue. It is in excellent condition; clean and sound with no rips, tears, damaged hardware or other signs of wear. There is some gentle fading of the shell
