This medal was struck by the U.S. Mint to honor Dr. Jonas E. Salk in recognition of his achievement in developing a vaccine for polio. Struck in bronze, it is 3" in diameter. The medal in the photos is the one being offered. I invite you to have a good look before buying. It will be carefully packaged for shipment in a non-PVC plastic flip, with a stand, as shown. All items ship within 24 hours of receipt of clearedpayment! Sundays and Postal holidays, excepted.
