S S REPUBLIC 1861 O SHIPWRECK EFFECT 50 CENT COIN NGC AUTHENTICATED WITH BOX Here is an NGC authenticated shipwreck effect 1861 O 50 cent US coin recovered from the S. S. Republic that sank in 1865. It comes in a beautiful wooden display case with identifying plaque on the lid. Also included are a booklet documenting ship's history and a CD entitled "Search for the Republic". Display case measures 11" x 7 1/2" x 2 1/4". All pieces are in excellent condition.
